Which is the best book for B.Des in NIFT?

Hi Ananya, If you are looking to prepare for NIFT Entrance Exam then there is no single point book for preparation (nor can there ever be). The first phase of the NIFT exam is essentially 2 levels : GAT & CAT. GAT is the general ability test (100 MCQ's) and tests your math, analytical, english & general awareness skills. CAT or the creative ability test (3 questions which you are asked to sketch), tests you on design concepts, creative visualization & representation & observation. This means that you should be able to think of a concept asked in the question & be able to sketch it well. You can prepare for NIFT by either training under an institute that guides aspiring students for design entrance exams or regular practice at home.

If you are preparing for NIFT then I would suggest you to refer Google and find out last year’s question paper. You can refer Gupta Publication’s book and an application named logical reasoning.
