    Hello, For preparation of IIT JAM Physics, you must have some quality study material. It is important that you read with such books that can help you to clear your doubts about each topic. There are various sources and books available in the market. But you have to choose the right one for preparation. So, before you buy a book, make sure it fulfills all the requirements that you have to read. Some of the top books for IIT JAM Physics are -
    Wave oscillations: for this, a book by N. K. BAJAJ. Or BRIJLAL AND SUBHRAMANYUM equally preferred. Optics: for this, a book by AJOY GHATAK. Solid states: a book by M.A. WAHAB or KITTLE or S. O. PILL

Well, if you have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, all three in your Bachelor's degree you should first understand and analyze that which subject you like the most and you are highly interested in. Then devote atleast a year and evaluate the scope of M.Sc in that particular subject, study it and then select the subject. Don't be in a rush, take your time.
