The UPSSSC PET exam acts as a preliminary stage for many group B and C-level posts in the UPSSSC. According to experts, the best books to prepare for the UPSSSC exam are as follows:
    1. M. Tyra or R S Agarwal for Mathematics
    2. The verbal and nonverbal reasoning book of R. S. Agrawal
    3. B. S. Sijwalii's reasoning book
    4. Lucent or Odisha expert books on General knowledge
    5. Arihant books to practice for different sections of PET paper.
    6. Newspaper for Current Affairs and language section
You can study the selected NCERTs for GK and basic math.
