    There is nothing as such a better or bad branch. Mediocrity level in the school has nothing to do with graduation level. I personally have seen poor students faring better in graduation be it in MBBS or engineering. If you want to excel then go for engineering domain that is less explored like Petroleum Engineering . Reason being the oil industry is replete with opportunities and hence has a better career prospect. The competition is far more less in this domain and hence the chances to get excel is better and lot more easier. I would suggest you go for colleges like UPES Dehradoon , Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar,
