Which is the best branch in engineering offering better placement opportunities?
-
Hey Harish,
It can't be determined that which branch will be best this year as you are going to apply for jobs after 4 years. It solely depends on your interest that which one you should go for. Generally saying you can take up CSE/ECE as they are currently the most job fetching specializations. Also select a good university so that it can help you during placements. Some suggestions - -

8 years agoIn the present day scenario, there is no doubt that CS/IT engineers are the highest paid and most placed graduates in the country and this situation is not going to change in at least the coming decade as we are moving towards an era where software will be the controlling factor of our lives. So the present demand for these engineers is only going to increase and the pay packages will become heftier for really good and knowledgeable ones. -
There is no such meaning that one is best and the other is not best. Its you who can make a subject fit for your own career. Your outlook, your interest, your hard work, your passion all these thing will make a stream best fr you. Excellence is the key to success. Dont look for a stream which can get you a job. Think for a while, judge your strengths and weakness then choose a subject. Its easier to get placement in IT/CSE in today's market. It may not happen after 4 years when you will come out. So its better to study in the stream in which a person is comfortable and confident. All the best. Thank you.

Let me clear that all the branches of engineering are good and have ample job opportunities. What decides your employability is the skills required in industry. So take any branch of your interest and work on skill development.
