Which is the best branch in engineering?

It depends upon your interest. If you like electronics field then you should pursue B.Tech in electrical and the same goes for other branches. All the branches are good.

There are around 40 branches of engg and what is popular and in demand today may not be so in next 4 to 6 years when you graduate so choose as per your interest and abilities. Currently, Mechanical, CSE, ECE, EEE, Civil are the most sought after fields.
