Which is the best branch in LPU in terms of placement?

Hi, Not only in LPU but everywhere it is a general perception of young lads and their parents that computer Science engineering and electronic communication engineering both are very nice many career-oriented branches. Few people think like only these two branches are able to provide you bread and butter for rest of your life. Which is an absolutely wrong assumption. Did you know there is a big increase of 9% in employability in mechanical engineering branch in previous year. Did you know there is a big increase of 13% of employability and civil engineering branch in previous year. Same is with LPU, all the branches are having equal possibilities and opportunities of placements And decent jobs just after the completion of degree. Thus, all the branches are providing ample of learning and skills required in an industry nowadays. So whatever you are doing do it very carefully and with full of dedication. You will definitely get a campus placement. You just need to take your interest aptitude and your own family scenario to choose the branch of engineering for your prospective career. In LPU more than 700 giant companies are visiting for the recruitment purpose. More than 900 placement drives are being conducted in a year to place almost all the eligible candidates. Dear Nayan, If I look from a mentor's point of view, the branch in which YOU have most interest and aptitude is best for you. If I look from point of view of students, I need top first check my aptitude and interests and align them with my aspirations, then I will automatically get to know my best field. If I look as just a layman, then I will SEE maximum number of companies coming to campus for CSE graduates. Dear Nayan, Though most branches have good placements but CSE and ECE are the best. Apart from engineering, MBA has very good placement record. The curriculum taught incorporates specific courses (subjects) under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning), Quantitative Aptitude Skills, Technical Aptitude Skills, Presentations and Soft Skills, Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc.). There are many branches that gets good placement every year. Engineering - B.Tech CSE, B.Tech ECE, B.Tech EEE. Management- MBA have good placements in LPU. Almost 95% of students are placed every year in different companies with the highest package of 26 Lac PA to the lowest of 3 Lac PA.

Though, generally people who work hard and passionaltely from each branch gets good placements. Mostly, ECE branch has the highest placements and great pool of faculty members and then CSE branch who gets second the highest placements.

Dear Nayan B Anand. All the branches of LPU are good in terms of placement whether it is engineering or management or design or any other. Being alumni of LPU, let me share a few details of placement at LPU. I would say that LPU is better in terms of placements. In fact, LPU made a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Engineering- Rs. 42 LPA Management- Rs. 21 LPA (SOBHA Developers) Design- Rs. 36.5 LPA (SIXT India) Agriculture- Rs. 19.25 LPA Amazon recruited LPU students on a package of 28 LPA Internship Stipend- 80,000 per month. (which is really hard to get in other universities) The reason why LPU has better placement records than other universities is because of its unique career cell. It enables students in getting relevant work experience to complement their studies and develop appropriate skills and knowledge. Resume writing, aptitude development workshops among other activities are hosted for the overall development of students and prepare them to crack the interviews easily. Right from Google to Apple, students of LPU are working worldwide.
