With respect to job opportunities, mechanical engineering has an edge over civil engineering because mechanical engineers are required in all types of industries.

Mechanical engineering has better scope than civil engineering. Mechanical engineering has more market demand. So, opt for mechanical branch. Top colleges for B.Tech in ME are: IITs Thapar, Patiala NIIDs UPES, Dehradun DTU, Delhi
