Which is the best branch of engineering to pursue: electrical and electronics, IT, civil, CS or mechanical?

Can I pursue different branch of engineering apart from the usual ones? What are my options?

    Ranking the branches in the order of their scope as CSE, ECE, Mechanical, Civil. Rest it also depends on the University from which you pursue your programme. As per my experience, LPU is the best engineering college in India.     Friend, all these are core branches of engineering that you told about it,thus some other branches are the subbranches or interdisciplinary branches like
    1)Nanotechnology
    2)Aeronautical
    3)Marine
    4)Robotics
    5)Chemical
    6)Bioinformatics
    7)Architecture
    8)Mechatronics
    9)Automobile
    10)Plastic Technology
    These are some high quality branches in world wide demand!!! If you are really hard and smart working person then go with the robotics or aeronautical.
