Every branch has its own importance. But before opting for any branch first you see your inetrest. Secondly after 5 years what will be the market value or scope n money for higher studies. Mechanical and electrical are good one. Cse is also good. EEE is trending now.

Civil engineering will give you jobs plus will also help you to be self dependent. civil engineers are also in demand. Central govt policies are also helping to get jobs for civil engineers. More over architecture n vaastu if mixed with this branch will be awesome.
