Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. Hi Nomanjee, You are comparing VIT and LPU. You should not compare both the institutes. What is important for you is to know that both the institutes are one of the premier across the country. Both are equally good. Although there is a lot of geographical distance in VIT and LPU but both seems working in same genre that is to make the student industry ready. Still I would prefer LPU. Why? Because, VIT is carrying a long time dignity with it. Thus there is quite stagnant to work upon the updated curriculum. Whereas LPU is very young and Energetic too. Hello! Both are renowned universities in their own zones. But I must say LPU is more preferred among students. As LPU caters the overall development of a student. Hello! Both are renowned, But LPU has it's own shine. LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes with quality education and that's the reason LPU has rankings such as UGC, ICAR, NCTE, ACBSP, PCI, BCI and many more. The University possesses assets in terms of academics and other extra-curricular activities. The experienced staff as per UGC guidelines is allotted and pedagogy which is undertaken to teach students is always updated with new initiatives like flip classroom, more discussions etc. This is a place where a student develops confidence and takes initiatives, develops entrepreneurial abilities and learn to survive in challenging conditions. The connect between the students and faculty is marvellous as personal mentors are allotted to every faculty which I can be sure no other institute is providing. In addition to this, the parents who send their wards from far flung areas are sending their wards on the basis of security system which LPU is providing. LPU has created its Division of Safety and Security which provides the safety and security to all the students, staff and faculty of LPU. If you are pedestrian and day scholar then you will be scanned and your ID card will also be scanned before you enter the university. If you are coming by a vehicle then you have to attach RFID which is connected to boom barriers and you can only enter when your RFID gets scanned means no external entity can enter without ID card or RFID. If any visitor wants to visit LPU then he/she has to get Visitor pass before entering. The moment you enter University, you will find security staff is deputed at various places to assist everybody may be a student or staff which is actually missing at most of the places. Particularly mentioning the hostels, there is full proof security provided to students. Lovely Professional University is best University in terms of placements, academics, exposure etc. Lovely Professional University has become a leading and a progressive educational hub in North India. Owing to the global approach that they adopt to instill the practicalities of their respective careers into the students has made LPU the most preferred educational destination among the students these days. The placements are comparatively high in LPU. About 90% of the students get placed every year in department. Many well-known companies visit here for placement. If you have a fine knowledge of the subject, you will surely get placed. The highest package goes from 7 Lacs to 42 Lacs, and the average is up to 5 Lacs. Ministry of Human Resource Government of India Ranked Lovely Professional University No. 2 in India in Management. LPU has recently Marked among Top 50 Best Management Institutes by NIRF ranking 2020. Also, LPU has won National Employability Award 2020. Being an alumni of this university, I would say that it is a great university which every students are looking for. Be it studies, hangout places, infrastructure or extracurricular activities, this university has it all. LPU makes leaders who are not only thorough professionals but also good human beings with values. This is just one of the many reasons why it is consistently ranked no.1. My experience at LPU has been phenomenal. They have good faculty and good infrastructure. They provide very good study ambiance and are very up to date with the latest developments. Overall culture in the university seems to be good. The diversity of students from different cultures and different countries offers a good learning B.Ed to learn and develop a more inclusive mindset. This mindset helps in being more accommodating and less judgmental in personal and professional life. Scholarship programs up to 100% for brilliant scholars-LPU provides scholarships to sports personnel, wards of Defence personnel like ARMY, NAVY, AIRFORCE etc. Apart from that LPU conducts LPU NEST where student can score good and can grab 50% scholarship.
