Which is the best choice from petroleum engineer and chemical engineer.

Petroleum engineering is a field of engineering concerned with the activities related to the exploration and production of hydrocarbons, which can be either crude oil or natural gas. Petroleum engineering is niche degree with major opportunities in Public Sector Units and large Oil & Gas corporate. . Chemical Engineering is a branch of science that applies physical sciences and life sciences together with applied mathematics and economics to produce, transform, transport, and properly use chemicals, materials and energy. Chemical engineers can be employed in wide variety of industries and jobs. Chemical Engineers are also employed in Petrochemical industries. Few years back all experienced Petroleum engineers used be engineers with Chemical engineering graduation/ post graduation degree. Therefore, number of jobs available for Chemical engineers is greater than Petroleum Engineers.

In my opinion, petroleum engineering is a better career option when compared to chemical engineering. However, only opting for a course in any random college will not help.
