Best college among LPU and Thapar is LPU because LPU provides many opportunities to the student other than academics also. Placements and faculty members are good. -

LPU is better in terms of placements and infrastructure. It has better facilities availability such as hostel accommodation and all. Placements are quite good for engineering at LPU especially for CSE branch. -
According to my knowledge you should choose LPU for B.Tech. From here you will get good opportunities ahead. Good luck. -
I'll prefer you to opt for the LPU for the CSE, as LPU is better than Thapar University in terms of placements, faculty and infra. -
