According to me you should opt for a course Bachelors of hotel management and catering technology (BHMCT). Multi story word class kitchen infrastructure and lavishing hotel inside the campus for the daily practice of there students. Totally vegetarian restaurant where students practice to cook only a vegetarian cuisine. At LPU these courses are meant for students who are looking for specialised hospitality degree with global recognition that can lead to the leadership. Although, this year LPU has relaxed their eligibility where they have exempted the candidates from LPUNEST exam. Those who are willing to take admission in the university, can take a direct admission now without qualifying entrance exam conducted by the University still a candidate must have at least 50% aggregate marks in the 12th class and English must be studied as a subject. I think both are premier higher educational organizations, but as per the feedback from Alumni of all the both, in present day scenario, LPU is way ahead in terms of Infrastructure of academics and cultural/sports, as these significant combination is needed for overall development of a student. Both are good in their own region but in North India, I must say LPU might be as good as IHM's in North India. Yes, LPU does offer Bachelors degree in Hospitality and Airline Tourism. Placements are very good. In fact, I have heard few overseas placements also. LPU provides four hospitality courses: 1) B.Sc. Hotel Management. 3 years. 2) Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. 4 years. 3) B.Sc. (Airlines, Tourism, and Hospitality) 3 years. 4) Diploma in Airline Cabin Crew and Hospitality. 1 Year LPU has eligibility Criteria also: Candidate must have 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 and English subject must have studied. Choosing a college or university, lot of factors considered like ranking, infrastructure, curriculum, pedagogy, Faculty and most important placements. But if talk of Placements, being a student of LPU I can say that LPU is the one of the top name. Dear, There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth, etc. To be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course.
