Campus Placements for the session 2021-22 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, Flipkart recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total there was a jump of 30% in number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies which selected the fresh talent. Moreover the total number of offers made to the engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Of the total 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 290+ MNCs offered pay-package of more than 5 LPA while number of companies offering package of more than 10 LPA touched 70+ this year. It is notable that highest package of Rs. 36 LPA was offered by TOP Company. Computer Science Engineering students of University Institute of Engineering (UIE) created history as Top Multi-National offered highest package of Rs. 35 lacs for the Engineering branch. IT giants such as Microsoft, IBM, SAP Labs, Hewlett Packard visited CU and recruited more than 2030 CSE/IT Engineering students. Worlds top IT giant Microsoft selected Computer Science and IT Engineering students consecutively for last three years, while number the selections have increased three times and touched 15. Indias leading IT Company Wipro (394), Capgemini (217), Mindtree (101) while the global IT giant IBM also selected record number of 196 engineering students which is highest number of selections made in any campus in North India.

Well, all universities perform well at their own ends but Lovely professional University is achieving its own Shine regularly at a higher pace be it academic, research, technology, exposures placements, accreditation, Curriculum etc. Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. , Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my cousin brother has completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. It hands on experience by also working on live projects to develop a sense of problem-solving, and critical thinking in order to gain real-life understanding along with skill enhancement. In addition to core curriculum, the course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements.
