Hi vinith!
The best college is obviously IIT Madras. But, if you have not appeared for any JEE exams. The best is VIT, Chennai. It is the best among the private universities in Chennai.
After that, SRM university (main campus) is good. In terms of counselling based colleges, Anna university is also

Sorry, I have missed the other best colleges.
AMRITA University, Coimbatore University is also good in terms of placements.
Sastra University, thanjavur University offers better education for CSE as well as campus placements.
These two are better than SRM University.

Hi,
There is a huge growth in CSE today, and everything is covered by CS so you can opt for CS in SRM-Chennai. But everything depends on your interest so if you have an interest in programming, then you can opt for this field.
