Of Course ! All the above institutes are fair enough ! But I would like to share some insights about LPU. Lovely Professional University provides several programs that include B.Tech, B.Tech (Hons. ), a dual degree programme for B.Tech and M.Tech and B.Tech and MBA and integrated programs like B.Tech and MBA and B.Tech and M.Tech. Here at LPU, you can get enrolled in any stream as per your interest and choice. Every year many students join the various engineering courses that are offered by LPU. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. Mechanical Engineering students at LPU are provided with enormous opportunities of placement drives. I can SEE my few friends getting placed in reputed companies like Hyundai, Reliance Energy, Godrej, Sandhar Technology, XL Dynamics and many more. Even IT industries recruit Mechanical students here. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. Are prominent recruiters here. Good placements in core company, internship assistance, other than participating different events like go kart, project expo, entertainment events like one india, one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also. I have done my engineering from LPU and had many friends in B.Tech Mechatronics as well. Once I had also participated in Go Kart Championship with Mechatronics students, I had great experience with Mechatronics faculty. If you actually want an advise, I will advise you to select an institute which is professional and has good experience in tie-ups, good academic content and over an above good placement record. Yes, you are right, I am talking about LPU which is the best private university of the country. One of my friend's brother took admission in LPU and appreciated the efforts of the staff of University. He told that LPU is best for B.Tech (Mechanical-Mechatronics) as this university provides updated curriculum, exposure and good placements as well. B.Tech Mechatronics Engineering offers an advanced insight into engineering fields such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, computer Science, instrumentation, & control systems. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies etc. He told that apart from this the student has the career in Defence Services, Indian Engineering services, PSUs like NTPC, NHPC, ONGC etc. , Higher Studies like M.Tech, MBA. , Core Industry (Manufacturing/Design Industry), Software Industry and Food processing Industry (Milk Plants) Just few days ago, NIRF has ranked LPU in top 80 among all private and government institutes. All have good reputation but as per my experience in LPU. LPU has Best Lifestyle and College Life. You will find lot of things to enjoy apart from the education. LPU campus is well planned and advanced in terms of facilities and technologies. LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. You will find the students and staff from about 50 Countries; from Cities, Suburbs, small Towns; from every ethnic & religious background. There is strong system for attendance, education and examination. You have to follow the timetable for your classes and maintain the good percentage in attendance. UMS is the best and main toll actually that is centralized one system for all Academic operations. Almost everything is online in the campus. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities.
