Dear Sahaj, there are many colleges and institutes that offer courses in Law, being a faculty of LPU I know more about LPU programmes. I can only say that B.A. LL.B. Programme at LPU targets students with an interest to pursue legal education with social sciences to benefit society. The aim of the programme is to create well trained and dedicated professionals in legal framework. LPUs Law School is ranked 24th among all Government and Private Universities in India. Studying by books is not a rule of Law. The university makes the most of the industry and academic experience of its faculty to prepare students to work effectively in the modern, complex and challenging legal environment. LPU is ranked second in India by Times Higher Education Impact Ranking 2021 and Aspire magazine of India Today group has also ranked it among top universities of the future. LPU received an Employability award by Aspiring Mind in 2020 for best placement Institute in India. LPU is ranked 10th best university for Training and Placement in 2019 by Knowledge Review. So placement at LPU is not a problem. Be it B.A. LL.B. Or any other programme LPU stands hand in hand with the student to get him placed. I have been in LPU so I can vouch on their practices that they are implementing and I have witnessed their effort for students and management working hard for placement and imparting quality teaching. Dear Sahaj, I have no idea about all law schools in India. But if I talk about north India, the LPU is one of the best private universities for law programmes among others. My cousin completed B.A. LL.B. From LPU itself. He is now working in a government bank as a legal officer. LPU is ranked 24th among all public and private universities/colleges for the law programmes by NIRF ranking 2021. LPUs School of Law is approved by the Bar Council of India. The students are groomed for bright professional careers by providing a wide range of exposure to theoretical as well as practical aspects of the law. The school organizes international conferences, visits by nationally acclaimed law practitioners to allow the students to gain skills and experience in the field of law. Students get real-time experiences through moot court competitions organized at national and international levels. Students completed their internship with Jalandhar Police Commissionerate and learned vital aspects of the handling of sensitive cases by police. Policing posits a host of challenges to the police personnel who have to strike a balance between competing values of individual freedom and the establishment of peace. Students were exposed to the saliency of weapon handling, undertaking patrolling and surveillance tasks, resolving general law and order issues by police as part of the duty.
