When it comes to assess LPU, it creates its own Mark of Excellence in the world of Academia. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University Engineering School is in the Top 100, Management School in the Top 50, and Pharmacy School in the Top 30 institutions of India. Both Galgotias and LPU are good Universities for their B.Tech CSE program as they offer unique curriculum and placements. I have come to know from one of my relative in LPU pursuing B.tech course that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Dear Ashish, Both Galgotias and LPU are good private universities and doing well. But here I can provide you with the details of the CSE programme at LPU only as many of my friends did B.Tech in CSE from LPU. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. LPU has a collaboration with Google to provide specialisation Android courses to the B.Tech/IT/CSE/Engineering students. LPU provides free training on SAP Business Suite to the students leading them to the SAP Consultant Certification. LPU has a tie-up with VMware IT ACADEMY for giving students and faculty exposure to products like vSAN, sphere, NSX, Workspace, Airwatch and cloud, including certifications. LPU was ranked SECOND by Hacker Earth leaving behind most IITs among more than 5000 universities, from all around the world. LPU students designed and created India's 1st Solar-Powered driverless bus which was featured in various national media, which was inaugurated by The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi.
