Both the universities are good. I would like to say that LPU is synonymous with B Tech CSE. B Tech CSE is one of the fortes of LPU. Being a faculty of LPU I would like to share some details of the B Tech CSE department of LPU : Placements are very good at LPU. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. The maximum package availed by the student for CSE is 42 LPA. The maximum salary offered was 40 LPA and the average salary was 5.7lpa. PEP Classes-These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from the pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India. Tie-ups with Industries: LPU has tie-ups with many reputed industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, and Upgrade. CompTIA, Transport, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Lovely Professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. The number of admissions in the CSE department has increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because I had completed the same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. Dear Harishankar, Manipal University and LPU are the best colleges but I cannot share the details of the CSE programme of Manipal except LPU. My sister did B.Tech and M.Tech in CSE from LPU and got placed in an MNC. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Both Manipal and LPU are renowned and exceptional Universities in terms of the B.Tech CSE programme that offers unique curriculum and placements. As per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students.
