Pursue Automobile Engineering from Chandigarh University, Punjab. 118 core Engineering companies select 1097 students from Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics & Communication and Civil Engineering branches. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total, there was a jump of 30% in number of total companies visited the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies which selected the fresh talent. Moreover, the total number of offers made to the engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Total of 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 300+ MNCs offered pay-package of more than INR 5 LPA while number of companies offering package of more than INR 10 LPA touched 80+ this year. It is notable that the highest package of INR 52.11 LPA was offered by top companies.

Here at Chandigarh university, we believe in supporting each other and our automobile department is one of the best in providing that support may it be academics or projects. In 8 semesters I and my team have made more than 8 major projects from a go-kart to a full-fledged car we have made it all. In our department, we believe that practical knowledge is as important as theoretical knowledge for we have big workshops and labs where we get to know the true nature of an automotive machine. Firstly, pursuing an Engineering degree at Asia's the fastest-growing university with a huge campus makes us feel pleasant. And coming to Automobile Engineering we should talk about the student-friendly teachers with a very good grip on the subjects not only theoretically but also practically. Here in the Automobile Department preference is given to the practical, projects, industrial visits so that students get a wide range of exposure to the current market scenario. Talking about the placements, our seniors have been placed in companies like Honda cars India, Sml Isuzu, Tafe motors, Indigo aviation etc. Which are a few of the market-leading MNCs these days. The last sem of the engineering,6 months internship programme is offered to the Automobile students from the companies like TAFE MOTORS, SML ISUZU, SONALIKA INTERNATIONAL CARS AND MOTORS, INDO FARM TRACTORS, ESCORTS LTD, MARUTHI, etc. This year, students are been taken to the Industrial visits to the industries like 1)SML ISUZU 2)MACH AUTO EXPO 2020 3)AUTO PARTS AND HAND TOOLS, LUDHIANA, etc. There are many workshops with fully equipped labs so that students can work on their projects for various competitions such as SUPRA, BAHA, FORMULA BHARAT, etc.
