Hi Kamalpreet, I don't have exact knowledge of Chandigarh based college, but in my opinion for such prospective & highly modern course you must not keep any location constraint. Fashion Designing is a professional course that covers a wide range of patterns, styles, fabrics, colours, and trends. The field isn't just limited to trends and clothes but also comprises accessories, footwear, and handbags. So, a candidate needs a combined study of these aspects. To become succeeded & well placed in Industry, definitely advanced Curriculum of the University (as per Industry Standard), Comprehensive rather systematic guidance by the experienced faculty & regular Industry oriented seminars / workshops matters a lot. Being alumni of Lovely Professional University, Punjab I must say LPU will fulfill all your University selection clauses in best way. I am having several friends who had done Fashion Designing course from LPU. In present days, I find they are quite an established professional in the same field. Dear Kamal, I have no knowledge of Chandigarh but in North India or Punjab, LPU is the best private university for fashion designing programmes. My friend is pursuing Fashion designing from LPU, she used to share their experience with me. She has discussed few points with me about her course:- She said that study tours are an integral part of the curriculum with the visitation of architectural and prominent sites provides maximum exposure to learn technicalities of architecture. She said. Fashion designing is a branch having a lot of scopes and in LPU, they give a lot of exposure to students, through guest lectures from industry top shots, various in campus and out campus fashion shows, and also they have their own store where the student's creations are showcased and sold. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics, and colors.
