I have many friends who completed their B.Tech in ME at LPU, They all are now working in different MNCs with a good salary package, The following are the highlights of Mechanical engineering in LPU: - 1. Most of the faculty staff are from reputed organizations with the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also. 2. The capstone project is an integral part of the B.Tech programme in LPU in which students have to pick a live project based on the practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills. 3. There is an internship programme that could be an opportunity for getting work experience and increase your chance to get employment after you pass out. But, of course, your academic record should be good to get this placement option. 4. Industrial visits are organized to manufacturing and production units, Thermal power plants, hydroelectric projects, and other segments of the industry from time to time.
