The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. The university provides scholarships and study/ education loan assistance to the students. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. I would say UPES is no doubt the best amongst the two. Although LPU will leave no stone unturned to promote themselves, but if you really want to grow in your career then UPES is the best. Be it placements, faculty, education UPES excels in all fields. I am not just saying it to praise any particular college, but I have two real examples of my friend and cousin who have studied in both the universities, one of my friend was a student at LPU and she took admission in BA course, which was launched the same year and was shut down the next after it was started, ultimately resulting in no placements for the student, while on the other hand my cousin pursued BBA Aviation Operations from UPES and now earns a package of 8 LPA. I have just stated the facts, the decision is yours to make. LPU might look lavish because of all the money the college spent in their personal branding, but UPES is truly the best as they invest to ensure a great career path for their students.

LPU has a distinctive placement record where 2000+Recruiters hired LPU students and Fortune 500 Companies have hired around 5000 students from Lovely Professional University. Some of the placement highlights of LPU are: 64 LPA (Lacs per annum) by Google - salary package offered to CSE student, 62.72 LPA by Eightfold.

My neighbourer told that LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognozant, SAP, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. Apart from this, LPU offers the following: 1. Rankings 2. Updated Curriculum 3. Industry Exposure 4. Good placements 5. Community Projects 6. Centre for Excellence 7. Internal and external competitions 8.
