My cousin brother is pursuing B.Sc. (Hons)Agriculture from LPU itself. He told Lovely Professional University has become India's first private university to get ICAR accreditation due to getting one of the highest Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Rating of 3.42/4, among all Universities. The future of agriculture lies with a faith born of D.Ed s. Students are engaged in evergreen agriculture, keeping in view the RAWE programme to build interpersonal skills. Students learn about the latest advancements in the field of agriculture, disease resistance, fertilizers and, insecticides with extensive fieldwork and field trips preparing them for the evergreen field of agriculture. LPU lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Emphasis on case studies and inter-personal based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios. Organic Life: Students are exposed to Commercial farms to get know-how that create an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all need is a decent place with good exposure. 7 students of School of Agriculture selected in HDFC India's leading private bank at starting annual package of 5.75 LPA as a Retail- Agri executive. 65+ students have been selected for an internship in different companies viz. , Syngenta (44), Bioseed (8), Smur Agro (6), Khandari Beverages (7), Mahindra Agri Solutions (2), etc. With an average stipend 9000 per month. Now, these were just some of the few advantages of LPU but there is much more good to say about LPU like its infrastructure, study environment, placements, cultural programs and what not, I can definitely say that LPU would be worth joining.
