Well admissions in LPU is based on the following eligibility criteria:-
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. LPU is definitely good for CSE but you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the same to get admission in LPU. UPES Scores are not considered by LPU. For admission in LPU you need 60% in class 12th with English, Physics and Maths and LPU NEST. Also, you get direct admission in LPU if you have 90% or above in Class 12th or 90 percentile in JEE Mains. CSE from Lovely Professional University is always preferred among students.
