Commerce as a field of study revolves around, accountancy, financial management, management accounting, economics, managerial economics, taxation laws, labour laws and many more. Though the syllabi may look like all theoretical, it is not ! These days the commerce graduates are hired for many roles, which include many tasks like data analysis, data interpretation and many more, so the knowledge of many technologies like Advance excel, macros and many industry certifications etc. Is necessitated. So, don't think that commerce with computer is different from commerce as such! A large number of computer related skills are now desired by industry! There are many colleges and universities in Punjab which offer B.Com however let me suggest LPU, being alumni, I would say LPU is the best university, According to the recent NIRF ranking, 2021 LPU is ranked 62nd among all government and private universities in India. LPU is ranked 74th among global universities, B.Com is also a 3-year undergraduate course offered in various B.Com. The Bachelor of Commerce course has been designed to train and qualify the students in the different aspects of commerce, finance, and banking. Along with focusing on subjects such as Accounting, Commerce, Economics, and Finance, B.Com students will also explore subjects in Marketing, Human Resources, and much more. Commerce colleges across India offer B.Com in two different degrees, I. e. (Hons) and B.Com or also known as B.Com General or B.Com Pass. The following for either of the degrees are equally high, however, for B.Com (Hons) students must have cleared Mathematics as a compulsory subject in the qualifying exam.
