IITs and IISc stand out for which you must clear JEE. Besides, we have NITs, BITS, IIST, state owned engineering colleges and private aided colleges. We also have private deemed universities and private self financing colleges in our country.

As per my knowledge for CSE (computer engineering), you should go for a college which have collaboration with MNC's to set up a live project lab for students so that they could learn to work on projects at the corporate level.
