Which is the best college to pursue B.Tech in CSE, LPU, SRM or CGC?

Hello, I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University and I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I can share details about LPU but I cannot comment anything about others. Starting with my experience from the first year onwards, where we asked to join some Placement.Enhancement Classes, that day I wondering why there is a need of same at this early stage and then the day I was sitting in my placement drive, I recall all those essential points which were taught to me that day and those eventually helped me in securing my seat in an interview. One more point I would like to share that it is not just calling the company to the campus, but preparing the students up to such level that they can crack any interview is equally important. So, I have observed, LPU faculties, put in a lot of efforts to get the students placed. So, preparing the students to such level is more important and putting up efforts for that is more important and that what LPU always takes care of. University has separate placement enhancement department, which focuses on overall development of students.University keeps on conducting, guest lectures, seminars, live projects, hands on training, sharing views and experiences by the experts and many more events which helps the students to broaden their thoughts and cope with the corporate world. In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple packages as well. I was one of them, I remember my day I am hopping around the campus and was looking around which option to choose, Finally I landed up choosing HCL, with which I am currently working as well since last 4 years and have received many promotions and hikes. All I dedicate that to my faculties and mentors at LPU. They helped me in choosing the right decision at that time as well. Students are trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Talking about my another life experience where we were asked to be a part of some live project in my second year and I was wondering, whether I am capable enough to be a part of such grand project from an MNC, but when eventually I started working, I realized I can do that and I had that much knowledge to be cope up with such projects. Also, such projects boosted up my CV and helped me in my placements as well as in my professional career. I hope this helps you.

Hello Shubham All the universities are doing equally good but here I would prefer recent NIRF rankings released by MHRD. Where LPU is mile ahead than a mentioned name. Moreover, there are several reasons to opt LPU. # Curriculum is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials. # Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cyber security, IoT, data Science, machine learning, and many more. All the best.

When it comes to choosing among the three for CSE, LPU would be the best option. The most important thing for most of us when choosing a college is its placements. Let me tell you that every coming year, they are attaining a new benchmark as far as the placements are considered. Around 600 companies coming to the campus for placements and trust me, this isn't a thing you get to SEE everywhere. Also, around 50% of them offer dream packages. In those 600 companies more than 100 companies are those who also recruit from IITs and NITs. Also, LPU has got a very huge and clean 600 acre campus with a very good infrastructure. LPU has all the facilities here like hospital banks, gyms, post office, fire station, in house laundry service, etc. And as far as the sports are concerned you will get all of them here from Olympic sized swimming pools to multiple basketball courts, cricket ground, skating ground, archery, etc. Talking about the academics and curriculum here, let me tell you they are just worth appreciating. The curriculum here makes every student meet each and every industrial demand. Not to forget the scholarships provided by LPU which is of very great help to all those aspiring students out there. There are various domains which can get you a scholarship like sports & culture, etc. Also, you can give the LPU NEST which is a scholarship test of LPU which can get you a scholarship of upto 50% for the entire term of your course.

Preference to any college/university depends upon its placements, infrastructure and facuties and I believe LPU is one of the great universities to study in. I had many friends from CSE dept. And they all were very satisfied with the environment provided to them. CSE dept. Of LPU is having the highest number of students under a single dept. Being an alumni of LPU I had many friends from CSE and I used to SEE them wearing formal dress almost every day because their placement drives would happen every day in their final year. Most of the students get offers in their third year itself. The placement record of CSE from LPU is phenomenal. Every year LPU breaks its own record in terms of placements. Student from LPU got placed in Microsoft at a package of 42 LPA and many giants like Amazon, Interviewbit have offered packages of around 26LPA to LPU students from CSE. VMWARE, Jugnoo, Pegasystems have offered packages of 9LPA to students, many other companies like Wipro, Capgemini, Bosch have offered packages of 6 LPA and the list is endless. The CSE dept. Of LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE, AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, INFORMATICA, COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CompTIA). The university has sate of the art labs with the latest software to provide hands on practical exposure to students. Every year students develop various applications and enhance their capabilities to meet the industry demands as soon as they pass out from LPU. In short, if you have opted for any course in CSE from LPU, then you need to worry about getting placed. I believe it is LPU as I have experienced the education at LPU and being the largest university with strong management and revolutionizing methods, LPU would be the best choice. FEES & SCHOLARSHIPS:-I have seen other colleges/universities asking for a hefty amount for an even lesser quality of education. The scholarships provided by LPU are very generous and the same goes for the fees in LPU. So, I got myself a scholarship of 40% which was the maximum scholarship possible in the B.Tech CSE (Hons. ). As per the latest ranking update, LPU has ranked 5th among 878 other recognised institutes, colleges and universities in India. Other colleges ranking among the top 5 include University of Delhi, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur; Indian Institute of Technology, Madras; and Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. As LPU has awesome Infrastructure, well qualified Faculty and wonderful placement record. It provides you wide platform to enhance your talent. LPU has also made tie ups with SAP, ORACLE and GOOGLE and they have added the courses offered by these companies in their curriculum for CSE students, which I think is a huge thing.

All the three are well established in their own figure and facts but, as per students feedback, LPU is having good future perspective, This University provides lot of good infrastructure for engineering programmes and particularly for CSE they are having tie-ups with Google labs, SAP, CISCO etc. To provide advance tools for academics and has strong Placement record and top recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon India, Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd. , Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini India Pvt. I am not having any notion for CGC or SRM but yes I can share the particulars of LPU as I am proud alumni of here. Many of my friends have completed their CSE at LPU and got placed in eminent institutions I believe for CSE, LPU would be the best option. Let me share with you some of the details as well as highlights : 1. Good Placements: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. 2. Accreditation : Every year, more than 30,000 students graduate from LPU across all disciplines. Accredited by most technical bodies such as UGC, NCTE, PCI, IAP, COA, BCI, and AIU, LPU has covered massive ground since being founded back in 2005. Already amongst the top private colleges students keep on their checklist, the potential for LPU to grow further seems apparent. 3.
