LPU is one of the best universities with innovative pedagogical techniques, conducive learning environment and good placements. University makes every effort to make its students market ready by giving them special inputs, train them in various aspects of placements. The university is a favourite recruitment hub of many reputed companies because of the good quality students being offered to them. The students are offered high packages. Some even start working while studying I. e. in their last semester itself they are on-job training (OJT) where they are also paid a stipend.

The university is a favourite recruitment hub of many reputed companies because of the good quality students being offered to them. The students are offered high packages. LPU is best in all aspects. Whether placement, exposure, curriculum, faculty having exceptional placement record with industry oriented curriculum. He told me, Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round development in our students in addition to giving them international exposure. University organized International Go kart Championship which is a student initiated automotive event the first international event of its kind receiving participation from all over ASIA. The Mechanical Department has highly experienced and qualified staff pursuing their research in thrust areas such as CAD/CAM, Mechanical design, Thermal engineering, Fluid dynamics, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool design and Flexible Manufacturing Systems/Automation. The Department has to its credit more than 100 research publications in International, National Journals including prestigious ASME Transactions, International Conference and National Conference. The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help the students. During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts. Apart from all the curriculum you come across, literally, 100's of technical and non-technical competitions being held.
