Which is the best college to pursue civil engineering in Pune? What is the cut-off of its CET?

The best colleges for civil engineering are COEP, VJTI, MIT-Pune, etc. if you are from Maharashtra. You need to score around 130-140 marks to get any good college.

I had one friend who did Civil engineering from LPU, based on his review I share the followingThe highlights of Civil engineering in LPU: - 1. Most of the faculty staff is from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also. 2. The capstone project is an integral part of B.Tech programme in which students have to pick a live project based on practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills. 3. There is an internship programme which could be an opportunity for getting work experience and increase your chance to get employment after you pass out. But, of course, your academic record should be good to get this placement option. 4. Industrial visits are organized to nearby construction sites from time to time. There, you can SEE actual construction work going on. Be prepare to have dust on your shoes (believe me, it will be worth a lot). You have to ask questions yourself and trigger interest in the activities around you. 5. You will get some courses from soft skills, English language, mental and on analytical aptitude side. This sounds dull to you as of now. But you will feel its importance when you face an interview panel in a company during your placement drives. 6. Hello Niranjan, As you must be aware, admissions to engineering colleges in Maharashtra are based on marks obtained in MHT CET. Your marks in 12th only decide your eligibility. There are large number of colleges in Pune and best would be COEP. You need to score above 90 percentile to get admission here. Best wishes.
