There are many institutions and universities in Punjab that offer CSE programmes, however, I'll recommend Chandigarh University. The university is among the top in the world for placements, infrastructure, rankings on both a national and international level, student exchange programmes, and academics in addition to the many other programmes it offers students. Regarding the assignments. More than 9k students were placed, with the highest payout of 52 Lacs provided to a CSE student, after a total of 784 organizations visited the campus.
