    All the courses mentioned by you have there own pros and cons.
    Biochemistry will lead to research in biochemistry industry, pharmaceutical, medical laboratories, etc.
    Chemistry will help you to get a job in chemical, pharmaceutical, goods processing, dairy, forensic, etc.
    Biotech is an emerging and very promising field.
    Civil Services Examination can be given after any of the above fields. Select the course that you want to make a career in. Mention your subject of interest to help you further.

    All of these are niche courses, the choice depends totally on you interests, aptitude, attitude, hobbies and aspirations. Every field asked in the question has its own scope, value, pros and cons.     1) SD college, Chandigarh.

    It depends on personal choice of candidate who wants to do M.Sc. Being biochemist, I feel M.Sc. In biochemistry is better, however, future scope in M.Sc. In Chemistry is not less. Biochemistry deals with study of chemical basis of life in living organism including plants and animals. It is very much developed Science and has following branches:-

    If you have B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry then M.Sc. Chemistry is good to suit for a career in Chemistry. If you have B.Sc. Degree in biotechnology or biochemistry then you can choose any one of them to pursue a career in Biotechnology.
