<p>The best course among the courses offered by IIMC Dhenkanal, Orissa is the PG Diploma in Journalism, specifically in English and Odia Journalism. This programme is known for its strong placement records, with almost 70 to 80 percent of students being placed every year from the institute.</p><p>Indian Institute of Mass Communication Dhenkanal (also known as IIMC Dhenkanal), was set-up as the second campus of IIMC by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in 1993 to extend its national footprint. The institute is located 80 kms away from the capital city of Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Since its inception, IIMC Odisha has produced around 2,000 media professionals. Initially operating from a private campus, IIMC Dhenkanal later relocated to its own 7.5 acre-campus offers hostel facilities for its students and a guesthouse (for visiting faculty) which is situated in Gandhi Nagar.
