MIT Academy of Engineering is an autonomous engineering college located on Pune - Alandi Road. It is an integral part of MAEER's MIT Pune Group of Institutions, established by the honorable Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, Founder and Executive President of MIT Group. The institute offers B.Tech and M.Tech courses in trending technologies and specializations. The engineering courses have been approved by AICTE and are affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.

So the college is mainly known for engineering courses. The exposure given is of good quality and the brand value of a degree is also good ( as given by SBP Pune University).
