I would suggest that you first check what you are passionate about because you can pursue a career only if you are interested in it. Fashion would give you the options of textile designing, retail managers, fashion designer makeup artist, etc. Whereas if you want to go for hotel business, catering, chef, manager, owner of hotels etc. For hotel management. Most importantly, check a college which would give you the best academic benefits of good faculty with the added benefits of a wide platform and exposure which is needed for hotel management, as well as fashion designing Check the famous colleges like: IHM Pusa, IHM Mumbai, IIHM, Pear

Both the courses are equally best. But it's yours own interest what you like. If you are creative and have learning abilities than go for design courses. If have any interest in joining service sectors than go for hotel management courses. It is important here that avoid to join the average Institutes for above courses. The NIFT, NID and UCEED are best entrance gateways for design courses, While NCHMCT JEE is for hotel management courses.
