If you are interested in civil aviation, you should be from science background in class 11th and 12th (PCM). After completing class 12th, you can register with a flying club, recognized by the DGCA. In order to practice as a pilot, you need to obtain a series of licenses such as SPL, PPL, CPL and ALTPL, which are based on the number of hours of flying training you progressively gain and by passing exams at each stage.
