MBA is business oriented course and M.Tech is a core engineering course. Both the subjects will give job exposure but MBA will draw a good package initially if done from a premeire institute and will help to get promoted in managerial post easily.

It depends on individuals interest, if you looking for a career growth in technical field then go for M.Tech. Pursuing it from IITs will be very profitable. If you are looking for management career, than you can go for MBA. Both degrees have importance in respective field.
