The best engineering colleges in India are IITs. Apart from IITs, BITS, Pilani, SRM, VIT, and UPES (petroleum) are other good options.

Legacy IITs (Mumbai, Delhi, KGP, Kanpur, Chennai) and BITS Pilani are best engineering Institutes of India. For Post graduation education you can include IISC also in list.
