It has been consistently ranked the second best engineering college in India over the years, including in 2022. Its overall score is 88.12 in NIRF ranking parameters. The admissions to engineering courses in IIT Delhi are done on the basis of national exams like JEE and GATE. This premier institute has one of the best campuses in India, state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern amenities, and research laboratories spread across 325 acres of land. Also, the placement rate is one of the best, as close to 100 percent of students have been placed in different years. The highest package was around 44 lacs per annum, whereas the lowest package was 6 lacs per annum in recent years.
