Trends in various engineering branches scope and opportunities vary with multiple parameters such as Economic growth, Geo Politics, innovation & technology changes, shortage of skills, quality of education, changes social capital etc. Therefore, predicting trends is very difficult. Currently, the scope for B.Tech in CSE and ECE graduates is highest. Mechanical engineering is an evergreen branch of engineering with not much change in scope in last 5 decades. You must choose a branch of engineering based on your interests to excel. -
Currently, among all the engineering branches, computer Science engineering and electrical and electronics engineering are the best branches of engineering. And they also have good scopes. Because right now softwaare and IT fields are booming in india.
