Which is the best field in civil engineering among an engineer, QC and QS? Should I go with Chandigarh university?

Don't do it. People from TIER-1 colleges are not getting placed. Most of the people switch to IT, consulting or finance. Those who wake up late ( people like me) prepare for ESE and state engineering exams, and live with constant job insecurity for eternity. Core engineering is a big no in India. Join Computer Science or Electronics in any good engineering college in India. You will have at least something to work for. In CSE and electronics, although you are in TIER-3 colleges, you have some hope in life. Civil engineering is dead. !

QC is quality control while QS is Quantity Survey. Quality Control Engineer mainly supervise the testing of the products and assures that no material or product is used that do not conform to set standards. Quantity Survey Engineer mainly looks after the maps, calculate the quantity and cost of the materials, may look after the inventory control. I will suggest you to go with QC as it has better opportunities. Yes you can go with Chandigarh University as CU is one of the best universities. It has also a good NIRF ranking. The placements of Chandigarh University are exceptionally good if discussed as per the current stats.
