    Core branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical have scope always. New age specializations like IT/Telecommunications keep fluctuating.     To be true, there is fierce competition in each and every field and you cannot escape from it. Your will to do well and succeed is all that actually matters. Maintain a positive attitude for that is what will get you to success.However, you can opt for Thapar University if you really want to get placed in a well reputed company since TU has been ranked 8th in terms of placement as per the survey conducted by India Today and GHRDC.

    Currently CSE has the best placement record. This is the age of competition & you will have to face it at every step in life. You can not avoid competition.
