It's a hard question to answer, as it depends on how we define the word "best"? It depends on your goal of learning a language. Spanish is the easiest language because its syntax, grammar, and even the words are similar to that of English. It is the third most widely spoken language next to English.

You may go for Spanish or French as these are most widely spoken languages and would help you better. Also, the language is not much difficult and their scripts are also easily understandable. Also, I myself have learned Spanish so I would advise you to go for either Spanish or French.
