MCA courses are offered at a variety of colleges. The MCA course's common test is the NIMCET. You can apply for admission to NITs and IITs using this method. Keeping all these points in mind, I would say that LPU would be the best choice for doing Master of Computer Applications No doubt LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also meeting the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high-tech labs and a dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. MCA students developed a Home Security System which was displayed during Project Expo. The security system featured an alarm and also a security alert on the users mobile. LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. Dear Sameeksha, Many colleges are offering MCA. Some factors you need to keep in mind before choosing any University, like : Do that University is really having that kind of infrastructure that can give you exposure? Secondly, always check the type of labs available as practical knowledge is the main aspect for MCA. Obviously, Placements. Whats the use of degree if you will not get the best placement. Faculty : It is one of the main point as they are the one who will tell you that what MCA actually is. Alumni network - If University's alumni is well settled at good positions then you are at the right place. Many other parameters are also there, I have listed some of them. Now, as per the question, Do LPU fulfills all of the aspects mentioned above? I will answer as per my experience here till now. Let us check - LPU's Infrastructure is one of the biggest & best in the world. You will have lots of International friends that will keep you connected globally. At LPU, we have industry-sponsored labs from Google, Oracle, SAP where we work on real life projects. This industry experience make cracking job interviews much easy. I have seen many MNCs visiting LPU for recruitment purpose.
