Which is the best institute for animation?

Hi Zakir, Good to know your interest in the stream of animation, all the animations institutes you visit will showcase there merits only in front of the candidate,But for choosing the institute i would suggest you to visit the institute and take proper counselling, understand the course curriculum and even about the placement, these days whichever institute you visit tends to excite you with the infrastructure, placement commitments etc and the name you have written in your question is a branded institute, but to be true if i have join any institute i would firstly check with the quality of the training and that could be checked only by meeting the faculties checking there experience, meeting the students personnelly and talking to them about the courses checking with what king of practical experience the institute is providing you with, by the end of the day whenever you would go for the interview firstly the company will check your demo reel and not the name of the institute, they will judge your knowledge and not the recognition that would come on the later stages. With this answer i am not saying that your don't have to see the recognition etc of the institute but just set your priorities and then decide. Zakir, Like most of the people, I could tell you that XYZ is one of the best and go read online about it. I could tell you to search the youtube for 'best animation faculty' or 'best animation institute'. However these are only some of the methods of shortlisting. There is no such authentic one list of institutes that i can give you. All institute branches have same curriculum, like all states in India follow the same constitution. By same comparison all state progress differently and after a certain time the gap becomes huge. You could do well to create a list of places you may want to learn at, whether they are in your city or not. Then go to their websites and research about them, and even call them and talk to them. Try their website for more details. Typically go for a school which offers all the information including faculty on their website. Now shortlist some you want to visit. Do not hesitate to travel - this is about your life and career. After visiting those take a decision for yourself. Even if you have to travel to timbuctoo or chandigarh for that matter, it is important for your life, so do it.
