Hi Aastha, the purpose of the M.Tech course is to give a specialized training in the field of engineering. M.Tech aspirants can apply for GATE exam as it is an all India test.
Generally, to be eligible for M.Tech courses it is advisable to attempt GATE as the test is administered by top technology
