As according to NIRF 2019 rankings NIT Trichy is the best. -
According to Last gradation, NIT trichy was considered the best NIT. You can go through india outlook for ranking according to branches and different factors like infrastructure, placements, etc. Anyways NIT Surathkal, Warangal and Trichy are considered all time great for academics . Their ranks keep changing every year. If you are looking for NIT in north india, Allahabad, Jaipur, Surat are the good ones. All the best
