Which is the best NIT to pursue B.Tech in mechanical engineering? Which college has some further scope as I am interested in football?

For studying any course or providing heaps of opportunity in other activities, NIT Trichy is the best.
I think, in any NIT, you will get no. of opportunities to show your extra skills. By the way NIT Trichy, VNIT, NIT Surathkal, SVNIT, NIT Rourkela are good for mechanical. Try your best for IITs though.
