Go for engineering. It does't mean that engineering is the best. But because it has many option for job opportunities. Both career are good but B.Sc. has limited number of choices for jobs. If you are an average student then i would suggest you to go for B.sc because it's easier than engineering and on the other hand average students in engineering who don't improvise their study will end up with a lot of backlogs but if you think that you are smart or you can cope up with engineering
